Universal Pyrometers KTRD 1xxx
Non-Contact Temperature Measurement from −40 °C to 4000 °C
Ziellicht auf Werkstück / Visiereinrichtung mit Fadenkreuz
The stationary universal pyrometers of the KTRD 1xxx series measure temperatures without contact, fast and accurately: from plastic parts at room temperature to glowing steel at 4000 °C. Six spectral ranges from 0.85 µm to 14 µm, interchangeable optics and all common industrial interfaces make the KTRD 1xxx a flexible solution for production, quality assurance and research. Developed and manufactured in Germany.
Key benefits
- Wide range: from −40 °C to 4000 °C, freely adjustable sub-ranges
- Fast: response time below 1 ms, high-speed versions (HS) down to 100 µs, e.g. for laser processes
- Accurate: measurement uncertainty 0.5 % ± 1 °C, repeatability down to 0.1 % ± 1 °C
- Precise targeting: green LED aiming light showing the exact size and position of the measuring spot, alternatively laser or through-the-lens viewfinder, plus vario optics for focusing
- Easy integration: analog output 0/4–20 mA, RS 232/RS 485, optional PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Ethernet or USB, switching output
- Built for industry: rugged IP65 housing, 24 V DC
The right pyrometer for your material
- Steel, iron, non-ferrous metals and wire: KTRD 1085, 1075 and 1065 for induction heating, hardening, forging, rolling, brazing and welding
- Glass and ceramics: KTRD 1550 with 5.0 µm, designed for glass and ceramics production
- Low temperatures: KTRD 2300 from 50 °C for metals, and KTRD 1105 (8–14 µm) for plastics, rubber, paper, wood, food and drying processes
For tight spaces and high temperatures
For confined installations, vacuum furnaces or high ambient temperatures, choose the KTRD 1465, 1475 and 1485 with fiber optic cable. The quartz fiber in a metal protective hose withstands up to 150 °C, and the compact front optics reach even hard-to-access measuring points. Accessories such as cooling housing, air purge, 90° beam deflection or line scanner extend the range of applications.
Free IR-LOG software
IR-LOG lets you configure all parameters of your pyrometer on your PC and record and archive measurement data. The software is included free of charge.
