Compact Pyrometers KTRD 4xxx

Powerful in the Smallest Space, from 100 °C to 3000 °C

The compact pyrometers of the KTRD 4xxx series bring the accuracy of our universal pyrometers into a housing of just 30 × 65 × 80 mm and around 190 g. This means they fit where space is tight: in machines, induction systems and series production. Integrated vario optics, a green LED aiming light and simple operation ensure fast commissioning. Developed and manufactured in Germany.

The right compact pyrometer for your application

• KTRD 4085 (0.85–1.1 µm, 600–3000 °C): for steel, iron, non-ferrous metals and wire, e.g. hardening, forging, rolling, brazing, welding and induction heating
• KTRD 4075 (1.45–1.7 µm, 300–1500 °C): for medium temperatures on metals
• KTRD 4065 (2.1 µm, 100–1200 °C): for lower temperatures on metals, ceramics and glass
• QKTRD 4085 / 4485: two-color pyrometers that measure reliably even through smoke, steam, dust or changing emissivity

With fiber optic cable for tight and hot installations

For confined spaces, vacuum furnaces or high ambient temperatures, the KTRD 4465, 4475 and 4485 with fiber optic cable are the right choice. The quartz fiber in a metal protective hose and the front optics withstand up to 150 °C, while the electronics stay protected outside the hot zone. Accessories such as cooling plate, air purge, 90° beam deflection and mounting bracket make integration easy.

Free IR-LOG software

IR-LOG lets you configure all parameters of your pyrometer on your PC and record and archive measurement data. The software is included free of charge. The PC connection uses an interface converter to USB.
